From my experience, these are the guys I would have to say are deserving. These are just the guys I have played against this season. I know there are others more deserving in the conference but I will not judge them because I did not play against them this season.(ex. Mullaney & Fete from Creighton)
Attack
Szostak - Harding (always a top in my book)
Watson - Arkansas (tore our zone apart)
C. Van Dyke - SLU (solid attackman)
Kladiva - Rolla (helped lead Rolla to our first .500 season and prevailed in the clutch)
Midfield
There are many quality midfielders but I would have to say that the only ones that really empressed me would have to be Murphy from Augustana and Steitz from SLU.
FOGO
The only two guys that gave me problems on the face offs throughout the season would have to be the guy from Augustana(not sure his name) and Falcone from SLU had a couple good face offs as well.
Goalie
Doris - Harding (had a solid season)
Grelle - Rolla (pretty much dominated between the pipes all season long & really kept us in some big games)
I don't know much about the defencemen and LPM's around the conference.
This is just a few of the guys I have noticed through my experience of playing them this season. There are more guys that deserve this award, it is really hard to narrow it down like this
All Conference Div. B

Fete-Creighton (points speak for themselves)
In the 5+ games I've coached against Creighton, I do not recall seeing Fete line-up at midfield. He's an attackman...I don't care what the roster says.
when he played against us he lined up for face offs and played defense. i questioned it too, but he played midfield at least a little, and he needs some recognition.

not having seen a ton of games...here is my two cents...
ATTACK:
szostak - harding
mullaney - creighton
watson - arkansas
also serious consideration to...hamilton (harding), van dyke (slu), fete (creighton), and hoogendoorn (dordt)
MIDFIELD:
murphy - augustana
allen - harding
lighthall - creighton
DEFENSE:
this is the hardest category in my opinion...i saw a few good defenses play really badly and a few bad defenses play really well...its also probably the worst position for finding good individual players because a good player on a bad defense will make that player look bad as well.
GOALIE:
doris - harding
...a few really really good performances in goal this year...but i never really saw anyone that played as consistantly as he did, nor come up with the big saves when his team needed them.
anyway...just my thoughts...again i didnt get to see a whole lot of games...i know i left people off...and that there are a lot of good players in this league.

josh why dont u just tell everybody that ur awesome then we dont even have to play and u can get all conference? Get a little humility.
the boards are not to tell everyone how awesome you are or to talk up yopur team so only post if u have something to say not ur own crap to promote.
sidenote: u guys dont see half as much action as any other team because of how our offense holds the ball, so u may never get any recognition despite ur ploys and that ur obviously deserving

As far as i know, to get nominated, only one team has to think you are deserving (which is somewhat questionable because by the end of the season, it's hard to remember who you think was good, so some people could get left out. Coaches should submit after each game). After that, your coach writes a blurb about you, and that combined with your stats is used in the decision.

This is how we did it last year, I am not longer on the EB and cannot speak for this year:
Each team is asked (either coach or player rep) to turn in a list of players that they feel should be considered for all conference selection. The votes are then given to an EB member who tallies them up, puts them in order from highest vote getter to lowest at each position. During the conference tournament the EB will meet and decide who should get what depending on the number of votes received, EB members seeing the players play, and pertinent stats. Generally, there are only enough "quality" votes to fill up the first and second team all conference. The final two teams (third team and HM) are then filled out with upperclassman who may have only had one or two votes.
This system is a little biased, I will admit. If you want to have a lot of people on all conference this is what you do: play every team in the GRLC. The more teams that see you the more votes your best players will get. The more votes your team gets the higher teams your players will be on. This hurts a team like Harding (I'm speaking of last year) who plays a number of OOC games instead of in-conference because of better competition, and drive for a national bid. Those teams who want to go after a national championship will pass up on in conference games against weaker opponents and try to find competition outside.
Lets all admit that right now the GRLC is a very weak conference. For Div A there is only one nationally ranked team and in Div B there are 4, however three are ranked 19th or worse, with only one team ranked in the top 10.
In order to improve, teams must travel out of conference to find higher quality opponents, unfortunately this causes those teams to have less votes for all conference and some players who deserve high recognition will not get it. I would urge each team (although this will never happen) to look at www.uslmdia.org and look at the stats and actually make intelligent decisions about their all conference votes.

some people are so sensitive. no need to be so emotional on the boards. the boards are all in fun so calm down take some meds and feel good about life.
As far as all conference goes:
Mullaney(creighton)-no doubt is deserving
Scoztak(harding)-great player; been in a slump lately
Hamilton(harding)-consistent all year
Wheaton has some good attackmen, but i do not know who they are.
Middie:
Riley(harding): face offs and great shooter
#15 Rolla: only player that stood out on the team
#9 SLU: go to guy; makes the plays
Defense: hard to tell individually
Metcalf(creighton): consistent the past 2yrs
W. Illi has a solid pole (can't remember the #)
Wheaton had a good D; not sure if anyone stood out
Goalie:
Doris(harding): solid in cage; inconsistent on clears
Ark goalie: good goalie; not the best at clearing
*these are all just opinions, so please nobody get their feelings hurt...it will all be alright.

As everyone knows, the stats on every web sit are inconsistent, both with the games played and with each other. I don't think anyone should make their decisions based on the stats from the internet. It should be based on the players ability against adversity. Just as corbin said, there are teams that play out of conference games that allow for a higher caliber of play. So just because someone doesn't have as much goals as someone else, it doesn't mean they are worse. Case in point, justin combs. Last year, he had over 100 points in the regular season, and this year i believe he is in the 40s. That would seem strange, but look at their schedule. They have played the roughest schedule in the Division. It doesn't mean he sucks, hes just playing at a higher level with the rest of his team. This should be in the thoughts of all who vote.

Combs has also been dealing with the Flu and a horrific ankle injury this season and has missed a ton of games.

i still say harding's goalie is one of the top, if not the top. On the field he controls his defense, keeps them motivated, and walls up the goal. Goalie's ought to be looked at with regards to other factors, like commanding and organizing their defense and their heads up alertness to situations. It takes a solid defensive unit (including the goalie especially) to keep a team as good as Harding has been. Give more props to goalies who can contol the situations.
also, do the tourney games affect the all conference players? or are they chosen from regular season play?

Historically they have been chosen on Saturday morning of the tournament.
