PNCLL Week #13 (4/19-4/25) -- Predict, Scores & Discuss

Postby jtlax on Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:24 am

oh no, our roster was definately not mostly former ducks. Danny and I were the only west coasters on the team actually. We had guys like Chris Rotelli, Brian Silcott and a few other current MLL players. O club is really good, filled with guys from Syracuse, Hopkins and Maryland. I gotta admit, our team was stacked.

The PNLA final was a great game. Game winner was scored with about 5 seconds left I think. My Vancouver team was knocked out in the semifinals by Olympic Club. We had an all SFU-alumni defense of myself, Aiden Ball, and Sean Tyson, and WWU assistant coach John Van Miert playing out of position on Attack. I also ran one game with Western Oregon on saturday and had a good time with that.

At Tigard they definitely have one field that is field turf and the other is a grass field that is in excellent condition and has some older stadium seating. The games should all be pretty good as far as field condition goes.

actually, that isn't true. Tigard has TWO field turf fields. It's a nice complex, and I know for sure that the main field is in very good shape.

Tigard is the greatest. I heard that with admission everybody gets a snowcone. Is this true?

Jeremy you realize the damage that can come from your previous lies, right? Now I expect you, a snow cone machine (with tigers blood flavoring), and a pretzel rotisserie to be waiting inside the gates. Don't forget because I think you could break a mullet wearers heart by letting him down...

No where to enter them...I can tell more about our game though. PLU got out to an early 8-2 lead and never looked back. We managed to win the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters to make it a 12-9 final, but it was all for not. As I stated before, in my opinion, PLU and MT play so well as a team, with minimal weaknesses. We are one of the few teams who can say they faced all of the other five playoff teams throughout the season, and those two are just a step ahead of the rest. That is not to say that the winner of the SOU/WWU game won't win the final, just that I think either team will be the underdog.

I have to offer my congratulations to the Raiders for being the only Oregon B team to get to Tigard, and I of course would love to see them win the championship, a great thing for Oregon lacrosse. However, I will say that I would be proud to have any of the final four teams represent us in Dallas, and maybe two if Montana was to lose.

Good Luck to all, and congrats on four great seasons.
