This just in from St. Charles, Chris Glover a.k.a. YOURMOM, may have mad the play of his career. Glover made a diving stick check to save a goal. Good job YOURMOM!

i find it really hard to believe that some grlc teams:

1. cancel/postpone required conference games;
2. then, during the last week of the season, request that the commissioner reschedule the unplayed games for this weekend;
3. have the commissioner and referees make arrangements for the makeup games to be played;
4. and then complain about it on the message boards.

all additional (makeup) games added to the crossover weekend were scheduled at the request of the teams involved. these were required conference games that had to be played and the commissioner and the referees did their best to accommodate these teams' requests.

Augustana 19

Thank you to South Dakota. They are a very well disciplined team and will be one to watch next year.

Final from Springfield:

Missouri State 7 OT
Kansas 6

Good game all around. Game was played with running time due to the poor weather conditions and having to get the game in. Thanks to the Jayhawks for a great game.

concerning the make up game confusion.
Yes we did ask the commish about making up the game, twice and more than one week before the crossover. What we would have liked was a response to the emails we sent concerning the game. It would have been nice to know we had a third game a little more than 5 minutes before a game. I wasnt complaining in my previous post. i was just stating a fact.

About the Augustana vs. South Dakota game

Augie played a great game. started off quick and never looked back. We just couldn't get anything going. Thanks to Augustana for a good clean game. We wish you luck in the playoffs. We look forward to playing you next season.

a little more on the make up games

1. we had to postpone the game due to weather (clearly out of either teams control)
2. i requested a make up game on april 7, a full 2 1/2 weeks before the crossover. got no response so i sent another email. again, no response.
3. were not informed of a 5:30 game until 2:55 of the same day
4. did not complain about receiving the game we requested, however we were upset that we didn't have advanced notice (aka a reply email)

that being said, i do appreciate the commissioner and the refs adjusting their schedule to accomodate these games. just would have liked a little more warning.

I think today ends the regular season (I'm sure that Div. A is done) and so I'd like to say congrats to those teams heading to the place an hour from Chicago; something-town I think. Another intriguing spring and one that leads me to believe that this tournement has the definite potential to end in some 'unexpected' ways.
Slightly off topic, I was wondering if Mizzou's defense rocked or not, but I can't find any information on it. Can anyone help?

Image That picture was put on there two years ago. We had an email going around with the EB about what to put on the front page just for kicks while it got finished being designed. I suggested that picture since its funny. I guess it just stayed.
