After this morning's result the standings are as follows:

SJU 4-0 (with game vs UWEC remaining)
UST 3-1 (with game vs BETH remaining)
BETH 2-2 (with game vs UST remaining)
CARL 2-3
UWEC 1-3 (with game vs SJU remaining)
NDSU 1-4

The SJU vs UWEC result will have no effect on seeding because SJU has defeated UST and CARL and BETH have defeated UWEC and UWEC has defeated NDSU

IF Bethel defeats UST they earn the 2nd seed, UST is 3rd and Carleton is 4th

IF UST defeats Bethel, UST is 2nd, Carleton is 3rd and Bethel 4th

Therefore next weekend the playoff schedule will be:

#6 NDSU at #3 (UST or Carleton)
and
#5 UWEC at #4 (Carleton or Bethel)

Edited with confirmed game times in underlined bold red text

We have 1 game impacting the B Division quarterfinal seeding that remains to be played following last night's inclement weather.

St Thomas vs Bethel is rescheduled for Friday April 21st 7pm at the UST stadium.

Here are the definites:

St John's (4-0) is #1 seed and gets a bye in the quarterfinals

UW-Eau Claire (1-3) is #5 based on win over NDSU and losses to Bethel and Carleton

NDSU (1-4) is #6 based on loss to UWEC

The outcome of tonight's SJU vs UWEC game does not affect these results.

Here are the variables:

If St Thomas wins on Friday,

-St Thomas (4-1) is #2 seed and gets a bye in the quarterfinals
-Carleton (2-3) is the #3 seed and will host #6 NDSU at 1pm Sunday (Carleton defeated Bethel head to head)
-Bethel (2-3) is the #4 seed and will host #5 UWEC at 3pm on Saturday at Mounds View HS

If Bethel wins on Friday,
-Bethel (3-2) is the #2 seed and gets a bye in the quarterfinals (Bethel will have defeated St Thomas head to head)
-St Thomas (3-2) is the #3 seed and will play NDSU Sunday at 3:15pm AT CARLETON
-Carleton (2-3) is the #4 seed and will host #5 UWEC Sunday at 1:00pm

Regarding game times at Carleton on Sunday:

I know their field is available. They are attempting to secure the stadium. We will shift the game times to accommodate using the stadium in the event it comes to fruition, but games will not start at Carleton before 1pm. If the Carleton stadium is not available, plan on game times of 1:00pm and 3:15pm. I expect Carleton to update us on the stadium availability by noon on Thursday.

It will be the responsibility of the loser of the UST/Bethel game to notify UWEC of the result IMMEDIATELY after the game on Friday. I am listing the UWEC contacts from their USL-MDIA application below. I expect these gentlemen to be available and ready to receive and disseminate the necessary information Friday evening.

What is the word on game times at the Evil Empire? Carleton looks up to Olaf, and it is not just due to elevation.
