Here comes another one, just like the other one... Best Pole? I'm including a few LSM because I think they're very good. Who do you have anchor your Defense?

No love for anyone at WOU. At least Kennan Clarke has to go into some consideration, he was 2nd team all league last year.

I feel like i can really only say anything about guys who have played defense on me this year, and I was only shut out by one person on that list. Snell is a fantastic D-pole who has great checks, footwork, and speed. So like i said, if i had to go by defensemen who guarded me Snell takes the cake no question.

Kennan Clarke definitely derserves some recognition... very heady player with some slick stick skills. Lee up at WWU impressed us when we faced them at the beginning of the year, really dominated faceoffs... should be a force to reckon with for the next few years and will only get better. Frey I have not seen in person, but I only hear very very good things. Props to all those listed. I am a d-pole at heart, so the more love for them the better!

if your talking longstick middies you cant help but mention ryan king and brendan murray. these are two very quality lsm's who i believe go unnoticed on our defense. however for someone who goes up against them day in and day out they are vey tough d-men who get the job done and do a lot of the dirty work no one notices during games.

Lee from WWU & Baumstark from PLU are the best long pole middies in the league, no question.

It's Wuerfful at PLU, not Baumstark. . .Jim Baumstark is the standout D-man for the WWU Vikings. Matt Wuerfful is #6 for PLU, the LSM/FOGO for the Lutes. He and Tyler Lee from WWU are both excellent LSMs that also face off with their longpoles. It was fun watching them go head-to-head when PLU faced Western earlier in the year. . .we could see that matchup again next weekend in the semis if PLU holds off Linfield and Whitman continues their hot streak against SOU.
