If I had known I had a balti and not a mullet, I never would've gotten a hair cut...

I'm not sure what "promiscuous bangs" are, but they sound like a public health hazard. Can you inject hair with penicillin, or does it have to be applied in moose form?

Great article. When I got to school, I learned that the locks coming out of the back of my helmet were referred to as "lettuce" by the upstate NY kids. Interesting.

High school hockey we called it a hesh, short for hessian.

I guess a hessian was a who inhabited the German state of Hesse.. Everyone there had similar hair to the Balti or hockey hair.

I've noticed my hair tends to get longer during lacrosse season, just because we're always playing on the weekends and such and I don't have time to get it cut. It's never gotten "Balti" long though. Hair that length on boys out here in the midwest gets them the label "emo," which no one wants.
