Speaking of RMLL goalies, did anyone notice that Alex Smith is on the MLL Denver Outlaws roster?

WOW........ I really hurt some feelings with that last post.
Canalacrosse / X1dschm: I am so sorry. You're right, i didn't know your intentions and i am so so so sorry. It was so wrong to judge you like that.
Pete... You were a good goalie in your time, you should have someone talk about you and your "sick goalie skills" and maybe you'll get some votes for your work a couple of years ago.

Just saying trost you talk like you know everything or try to rag on people. Notice my first post asked for OPINIONS and thats what people are giving. So I like that people talk and let people know about other goalies. I have no clue what happens in other games. That's what forums are for is people to talk about whatever they like it has nothing to do with trying to get votes.

It looks like there are only 3 goalies on the Outlaws roster, so that's good for Alex. I'm curious, Alex, what's your practice schedule look like?

Come on Pete you can do better than that, you are much funnier than a simple overstatement of the obvious cliche.
Nope, I cant. And nope again, i am not actually funny. Sorry to disappoint.
Its true Pete really isnt that funny! I think Mark got all that. Sorry pete im sure you have your moments of funny!
Pete is extremely funny. And by funny I mean really slow with no coordination at all. Athletically speaking he is on the shallow end of the gene pool in his family. On the lacrosse field Pete is like a slinky, absolutely useless but you still have to laugh when he falls down.
Love ya Pete,

Thanks for noticing.... Anyway, to answer your question, (no excuses) everything went wrong. It was a very very hot day in Greeley and the guy I rode with to the field only found it ten minutes before the game. So, yeah, I was having an off day, but wait! There's more- We only had 13 guys at the game and by half time, three were hurt, so everyone on the field stayed there. Finally, (No excuses) UNC kept their starters in the whole game- why you ask? They're fighting for seed position, of course. Anyway, that's the basic happenings of that game.
Also, this is a goalie discussion forum, and there are no goalies, (to my knowledge anyway) posting anything on here, so to everyone else:
Respect your goalie. That's it. It's the toughest job on the field because they sometimes get a bad wrap: If you loose, it's their fault and they are going to be much harder on themselves than you think. If you win, sometimes they don't get the credit. Respect your goalie and encourage him however you can, because he leads your team. Also, it takes a certain kind of Wheaties in the morning to jump in front of the ball that everyone else is dodging.

Mike by all means I wasn't bagging on you just was wondering what the game was like and what happend is all. Trust me the goalie has mad respects by all players on the field I know not anyone will step in front of a ball everytime it is shot over and over so big ups and mad love to the goalies keep representing and we will see great goalie displays in two weeks in Logan.

I just want to say that Mike Stone is one of the best goalies I have seen play in the RMLC (way better then me), and with 3 more years infront of him, I would be disapointed not to see a All American Vote coming his way soon. Also, Brian Hoy is also a complete bad ass, between those two, alot of attention should be coming towards the RMLC B div for a few years.

I agree with you on this one. Interestingly enough, he didnt even make honorable mention in the conference this year, but he did give our freshman goalie four games this year (and he went 4-0). Hopefully next year Brian and his brothers Pat (Attack) and Dave (Middie) will all get a little love from the conference.

It's strange that Brian Hoy wasn't even on the nominations for Division B goalies. There were only 3 goalies up for vote, and obviously all 3 received recognition. Hopefully, the RMLC can address this and have 4 goalies on the poll next year with only the top 3 receiving recognition.

you guys say stone? really?? i think stone is the luckiest goalie as well as being a huge dude. as for skill though, Guzman (western) is nasty! he has the best hands/moves in RMLC B for sure. Whereas stone usually just gets drilled like 9,000 times a game. yea i said it. 9,000.
