Just in from Lubbock

Final 14-7 Tech

It was a closer game than it looks until the fourth, it was 5-4 UT at half. 7-7 going into the fourth. For most of the first half each team was scoring off of mistakes by the other team. It was a lot of trading of goals for 3 quaters and in the fourth Tech took over. And as a side note the weather was excellent.

The UNT/ SMU game was an intense game pretty much from start to finish. They definitely took it to us early and often, taking advantage of some pretty significant breakdowns on our part.

Huge game from number five (reid singleton)... The guy put up five goals and two assists, was very good at the face off x, and really didnt see the bench at all the second half. Pretty much been the story of the year for our squad; if youve seen us play you know he is capable of putting the entire offense on his back. Had forty points before last night, forty seven now (i think). If he keeps up his pace, he should have 50 plus points by the end of the weekend.

Cant wait for tomorrow... hopefully we can surprize a few more people before this weekends through.

from what I hear, it was just a scrimmage, not an official league game, so dont worry, you'll have other chances to pad your stats. Not that UTA was right in no-showing for the game, but they were having coaching issues earlier in the season that have since been resolved, besides, not like you didnt know what the outcome of the game was gonna be anyway.

I dont play in our B team games. It would of been a fun game for your team and a learning game for our team. It also sucks that we took 2 hours to teach the guys how to line a field (dont forget our B team is 10-15 1st/2nd year players just picking the game up), just to go to waste because a team didnt want to show up, then to top it off they dont pick up their phone after 5-8 calls, then to really top it off they dont respond to email about missing the game for quite a while...but who cares, you guys got beat pretty soundly by southwestern, and thats good enough for me...

Fellas, lets refrain from further discussion of this topic. Take up these league issues with the LSA Admin off-line.

Thank you.

I know the Cougars would have loved to have some more wins, but I bet they can be relieved that they have won a game at the end of the season. In the LSA Div. A South, Tulane, LSU and Houston are tied at 1-4, and Houston after 7 straight losses finally won a game. That means they finished their season at 1-7.
