Yea. Dean did a lot of good things, but was definatly playing cautious for his knee, cant wait to see how dean and cory do when both are healthy and playing. Goalie definatly got on fire during the 3rd and 4th quarter. Who is SCAD? they new this year?

we opened up our season with SCAD and won by a relatively small margin (7-4). i think emory beat them by the same score. while i felt that we had more skilled players, they were very athletic and were very organized. organization is to be expected as i have heard talk of them going to varsity next year. not sure how, but they manage to get it done and score goals. they are new to the selc this year and are much better than some teams we have played who have been in the conference for much longer.

Clemson 20, USF 7.

It was a real wet and sloppy game but by far the best refereed game I've been a part of in the SELC. USF is real classy team and we appreciate them coming up.

FSU 12
NCSU 9

NCSU closed to 9-6 when FSU went on a 3 goal run to lead by 6. NCSU answered with a man up goal, transition goal and settled goal get back within 3 but FSU ran out the remaining 5 minutes of the game.

Final:
FSU 3-0
GT 2-1
NCSU 1-2
WFU 0-3

thanks again for a great weekend guys

Nice weekend for the 'Noles, but it doesn't appear that the SELC's AQ is a foregone conclusion.

according to their website, the club is in it's second year of existence and wasn't in a league last season.

I'm almost happier about the scores this weekend. Close games with opponents who the 'Noles are probably going to see again at conference finals...Hopefully they won't take as much for granted down the stretch this season.

On that same note, with the West coast swing coming in less than two weeks, this gives FSU something to build on. It's good to hear Coach Lovic touting FSU's defensive improvement, because they are really going to have to step it up for Sonoma, LMU, and UCSB.

Congrats again to the Seminoles, four sweeps in a row of the ACC Shootout!

Hugh,

Just curious.... are you still down at FSU or have you gone else where and still attached to FSU in some way?

We at Wake wanted to thank Georgia Tech for hosting the tournament and their excellent hospitality. The trip was very enjoyable and we look forward to returning to the shootout next year.

I'm really just a cheerleader. Still here in Tally. Coach Harkin doesn't allow the team to post, so I guess sometimes I feel like I have the team's back.
