I was just on the SMS website and saw
"The SMS lacrosse team completed the season 12-2 and enters this weekend’s Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference Championship with the No. 1 position in the conference and the nation." dated 2004.
Am I missing a big piece of the puzzle, or is this just a typo?
Beckner, whats up with this, a little fan booster?

I think that's a link to the latest news articles about the Missouri State lacrosse team, and the latest one is from 2004. I'm pretty sure that was for Division B, and they did win the GRLC Division B tourney that year.

At the time of that article, SMS was #1 in the coaches B poll nationally, after the 4-0 trip through Texas. SMS was also #1 in Div. B on Lax power. They were undefeated in B that season too, so I think thats where that article got its statement.

On behalf of the 2004 SMS team, I warmingly take full credit for that season.
Actually, after that season the team sent two of its players to D1. (One for lax, the other for football). It was a great group of guys.
