This game was a "little" disappointing
UConn 23
BSC 6
Okay, now I really DID just throw up in my mouth.
That is a ridiculous score..was anyone there that can offer any observations?
I am more than an little disappointed....OH WELL.

It was 13-0 at the half. In my honest opinion two factors came into play. Bridgewater does not have a large team and fatigue eventually became a huge factor. Also the ref's called it tight, and BWS got the worst of it, off the top of my head they had 12 penalities where as UConn probably had 4. Also we had a decent scouting report and made a point to shut down their go to guys and see if the rest of the team could beat us which they couldn't. And a third factor, we are a lot better this year.

Although I can't comment on BSC because I haven't seen them play at all this season, I can say that UConn has a much stronger team this year than they've had in the past few seasons. They definitely have a lot of numbers, making it harder for smaller schools like SC and BSC to keep up.

So UCONN is a lot better this year, but are they ready to make a run at the PCLL league title or pull off an upset of UNH, BC or NU? I'm guessing no - based on UNH defeating them 13-3. I know that is just one game and comparing scores isn't always the best way to gauge a team, but I am interested to see how UCONN will fare against Boston College and Northeastern.

IN 02 they Huskies finished as runner up in 02' Championship game
2004 they were 7-3
I think the huskies are looking pretty good.
Their first match of the season saw a team w/o their coach <who was absent due to work> face an experienced UNH team.(Amazing veteran Coach)
The league has seen traditional power houses go through struggling times while dealing with re-orginization issues. URI to name one.
Do I think UConn has what it takes? Yes. Does UNH, BC, NE or UConn Absolutely.. The season is young. This league has been a rollercoaster, but that what makes it great. Lets just wait an see.
Look forward to an exciting season from all teams.

Woah woah woah. All I said is we are a better team this year. Made no predictions. We were 4-9 last year. Not hard to be better then that. Your support is appreciated but lets not speculate and take things one day at a time.

who is the new UCONN coach?
and NKlaxguy, who are BSC's "go to" guys this year? I haven't seen them play since the alumni game (which the alumni won 7-3), and I know that the team has changed dramatically since then, losing thier top D mid, Gaignard, and their best close D guy Chris Reid. They also lost one of thier top mids, when he left to join the sherrifs dept.

BC/UNH game
Anyone at the BC game have an update as to what happened? Was it close throughout? Just looking for a short summary.

I only saw the last 8 minutes or so, but I think UNH had a four goal lead in the fourth, and BC started to mount a comeback. BC had a chance to tie it late. Kinsella drove around X and made a diving wrap around shot that went wide of the cage. BC's comeback was mounted by their midfielders who scored the three goals that I saw.

Uconn Vs BU
Uconn 11
BU 10
In this cold Boston night, UConn came from behind to tie up and eventually win the game with 0:07 left.
Great game UConn.
BU you played tough...
BU fans in the stands, what was that you were saying the whole game? "Score board"
