In an effort to make my sunday a little more enjoyable, I just wanted to know everybody's favorite comedian that few people have probably heard of. Mine would have to be Demetri Martin. There is a little mild cursing, but nothing too offensive. I mean at one point he brings out his mom and grandma, so it cant be that bad.
"A drunk driver is very dangerous, everybody knows that. But so is a drunk backseat driver, if hes persuasive. 'Dude, make a left' 'those are trees' 'Trust me.'"
"I like parties, but I dont like pinatas, because the pinata promotes violence against flamboyant animals. Hey, theres a donkey with some pizzazz, lets kick his butt. What im trying to say is, dont make the same halloween costume mistake as I did."
Who is everybody's favorite little known comedian?

Patton Oswald did a special called "The Comedians of Comedy" with 3 other comics whos names I can't think of right now. It was on Comedy Central and Showtime I think. Its pretty good.
My favorite lessor known is Mitch Hedberg. Unfortanatly he died a while a go but he was very funny. Dane Cook is another good one too.

Those two take the cake for me as well as Zach Galifianakis.

Zach's late night talk show on VH1 is still a favorite tape that I put in. As far as the other stars from Comedians of Comedy (Patten and Zach already being mentioned) are Maria Bamford and Brian Posehn (from Sonoma). That was a great show. I will echo also the Demitri Martin praise. You can find his comedy central special on video google.

There are so many I could list here... number one is definitely Jim Norton (www.eatabullet.com)... also a big fan of Patrice O'Neil, Jim Gaffigan, Rich Vos, Jackie Martling, and Steven Lynch.

While I do enjoy Mitch Hedberg, one of the comedians that stuck out most for me was The Amazing Johnathan. He combined magic with comedy and I couldn't imagine what would happen next. Found the comedy central broadcast on iTunes if anyone cares.
In one segment he asks a lady in the audience if she likes birds (like he is going to make one appear) then when she says yes he flicks her off and laughs. Then he says just kidding and makes a real dove appear out of nowhere... only to bash it to feathers and laugh again.
it sounds sick but if you get a chance to see his act in vegas or otherwise i highly recommend it.

Forgot about Rich Vos. That whole Last Comic Standing show was pretty good.
Another one who I forgot is Steven Wright. He is the Jail Mountie in Canadian Bacon and the DJ from Reservoir Dogs
