UMLL Week #9 3/29-4/4 Game Preditions Thoughts Scores etc...
just a thought..
It seems as the this year's league is unlike years past. It seems as though any parity that existed when Duluth, Minnesota and Stevens Point had a chance of toping the conference just a few years back has disappeared. Minnesota is truly in a rebuilding stage with a roster full of young and inexperienced players. Similarly, Stevens Point seems to lack experience and the players that made them so successful for the past 3 years. Conversely, a team like St. Cloud seems to have things together, at least they have the firepower that the lacked the past few years. While I have not seen a lot of the games, it seems as though the quality in our conference has decreased and hopefully the UMLL goes back to a conference where at least three teams could contend for the title. Are players who would normally go to UMLL teams going elsewhere? Whatever it is, I think everyone will agree that the sooner a more balanced league emerges the better for everyone.

I am going to agree with gopherlax27 on the fact that UofM Duluth Campus is running away from the pack, but I feel the league as a whole is getting better every year, with high school lax the UMLL is getting more experienced player. The problem is kids are getting brain washed into going to UofM Duluth campus, but I’m sure its not Graff because he feels strongly that kids should pick there colleges around academics and not lacrosse.

I'll be sure to be there extra early and make sure a few cobras get released onto the field. Watch out, they strike fast.
Mrs. Krabapple: What's wrong with him now? Bart: Night terrors ma'am. Homer: Cobraassss...Cobrrraaaasssss.

Why are we talking about cobras? They are easily the most terrifying animal of all time. Just thinking about cobras has ruined my day... and now I just though of Sylvester Stallone's old film, "Cobra" and my day is only going down hill from here.
Wasn't his name "Marion Cobretti"?

Brainwashed to go to Duluth? Maybe they just want to play for a consistent winner. The same reason top basketball players go to Duke. It's a good program. Not to mention the school is good, and the area has a lot to offer.

I actually picked Duluth because of the academics, and before I went up there I knew it had a lacrosse team and that was it. My choices were NDSU or UMD, both had decent ECE programs, but NDSU at the time did not have a lax team so I chose Duluth. Little did I know...
