Oh My God. And they have 3 more games to play on that field by Sunday! BTW, jtlax, watch where you walk in that stuff. I tracked some of that mud into my car and I have been trying to get it out of the floor mats for 2 days now.

Just in case, you didn't see the picture that Bluevelvet took of the crease area after the UCSB v. Sonoma game on Wednesday, this is what it looks like. Actually, virtually the whole field is not much better than this. I was ankle deep in mud just standing on the sidelines. It's raining right now and did yesterday too, so the field can't have improved. They may need some snorkeling gear to find some of the ground balls.

Based on the UCSB v. Sonoma game on Wednesday, the answer is no.... they can't cut or dodge. But when defenders fall down you can score. The ball is probably black by now.mikey wrote:are people able to dodge at all, judging from the pictures you wouldn't even be able to run normally without slipping evertime you plant???

At the UCSB game on Wednesday, virtually every time someone tried to dodge by changing direction, they went down. It is impossible to cut in this stuff. The goals mostly came off of feeds where the scorer caught the ball & shot without moving much. The ball handlers would be well advised to drive and keep going in one direction circling around the goal.
