Coaching/Officiating at HS level in MN and WI

Gentlemen:

I am making a general plea for your teams alums to get involved with Minnesota HS lacrosse.

Numerous teams need assistant coaches. Some need HEAD COACHES.

Cooper NO LONGER needs a head coach.

Mounds View (as noted elsewhere) needs assistants. Contact Chris Taute [taute@augsburg.edu]

There are numerous other opportunities. Contact me if you are interested in other opportunities.

The entire HS league is apparently limited to just 6 games per day in the state because there are not enough officials. Thus the HS teams are playing VERY LIMITED SCHEDULES. Officials are paid well, and for those with tighter schedules, provide a means by which to stay involved with the game. Contact Brad Scibak if you are interested.

Don't forget WI, we're part of this thing we call UMLL- If you are interested in officiating and are in WI, Sid Flanders is giving classes to become an official. His e-mail is sashalf@globaldiaglog.com This guy and a couple of other guys are working hard to standardize some officiating practices with the WLF and create a strong organization for officials in WI. I'm surprised the pay is so good.

Please refrain from further personal commentary about individual referees.

Some of you that think you can do better then the current guys in zebra stripes are HIGHLY encouraged to walk a mile in their shoes first.
