Sopranos Discussion week 2 (Spoiler alert)

So I was just wondering what everyone thought of last nights episode?

Personally i think that Tony needs to get out of the hospital, because his other subconsiant life as a sales person is BORING. I don't want to watch what i could do. Plus that gaping hole in his gut is disgusting. BTW anyone notice how much religious imagery there was in this episode? i.e. the monks in the lobby, and then the cross advertisment on the t.v. in the bar.

Last night's episode was OK. Next week's episode looks spicy.

i didn't see the first episode this year but i thought last night sucked. The next one looks like it has more mafia type stuff in it, i'll give them 1 more shot. Medow has dropped a few pounds.

it seemed like everyone was hypothesizing before last night about the season being drawn out into flashbacks, so i was very surprised to see the dreamlife angle used. either way, get used to it because i dont see tony coming out of the coma til the end of the season, at least. and believe me i love watching fat spasming comatose patients with 'open incisions' in their guts. the religious imagery last night reminded me of the food theme last week. And if you subscribe to the theory that the food lended tony added weight to protect him from the bullet, then possibly it will be religion/faith that protects him during the recovery. what intrigued me was not necessarily that tony was a salesman in his dream, but the time period in which it took place. all i could gather was that costa mesa was on fire and aj & meadow were much younger. whats the relevance? also, do we know what city tony is currently stuck in? tony seems to be very interested in the lighthouse off in the distance... in his dream, tony is helplessly stuck somewhere he doesn't want to be and all he is trying to do is get home, yet there is this beacon (lighthouse) in the distance that is distracting him. the parrallels to being in a coma are crystal clear.

Meadow is smokin' hot now.

The scene where she was dancing in front of Finn from the first episode...
