Confussion

Postby JStoops on Thu Feb 17, 2005 10:50 am

I'm confused, is UNT still playing Trinity? Yeagy, Sones is just trying to give you some tough love that you'll need when you go head to head with Yeagy II.

Yes, check Karl Lynch's post on page 1 of this thread. UNT will be playing at Trinity on Saturday, Feb. 19.

Weather

Postby JStoops on Fri Feb 18, 2005 11:54 am

Does anyone know what the weather conditions are supposed to be like this weekend around San Antonio? Any Trinity guys want to chime in on this one?

It looks like most of Texas including San Antonio will expect some rain ranging from 20% to 50% depending on where the games are in Texas tomorrow. You can go to www.weather.com , type San Antonio, Texas and then click "Go" to get to the details of tomorrow's weather in San Antonio.

Word is TCU vs. UTD is cancelled on Saturday. Tried to reschedule for later in the day but couldn't work it out.

LSU 1 Florida 21

Our starting goalie went down in the first quarter and was replaced by a guy who had not played goalie in about a year, but he played out of his mind. Florida is a solid program they are very deep.

Nick forgot to mention the fact that our back-up went down as well with a gash above his eye. In comes our third string goalie who, though he had never stepped in cage before, decided to stand on his head and make a few saves. Needless to say it was a crowd pleaser.
In all seriousness, I'd like to echo the comments above. UF is truly a classy program who really gave us all we could handle and then some. Thanks for making the trip guys, good luck tomorrow against A&M. I think you might have a few converted die-hard Tiger fans at your backs, don't disapoint.

Weather update

Postby Brent Burns on Sat Feb 19, 2005 9:25 am

So far, according to the radar map from weather.com, the skies are clear, and hopefully, the games will be dry by the time 1 pm CST arrives. It looks like it will be a dry weather game for the Austin College-Southwestern game at 10:30 am CST.

I know this is a long shot, but if anyone hears the score on the TAMU and Florida game, could you post them? I am not in the fine state of LA, but I am still very interested if TAMU can bounce back with an OOC win! Good luck Ags!

Southwestern 21 Austin College 4

The scoreboard for SMU at Baylor game (it was a exciting and good game from my perspective, and the only brief funny moment was that I was not sure which team accidentally bowled over Sean Gilligan, SMU Head Coach):

SMU 1 3 1 4 = 9

Baylor 1 3 2 2 = 8

Just got one email confirming score:

UT-Austin 20 Oklahoma State 3

The UT-Dallas at TCU game from what I was told in an email tonight has been rescheduled to a later date.
