That game isn't listed on USLMDIA.org. The schedule listed above comes directly from the MDIA site.

I know, it's on Arbiter though and for some reason was never updated on the usmdia site...

UNCC v. USC

South Carolina had to reschedule our visit to them. We now play Friday March 17th at 7:30 pm. Arbiter already reflects this, just thought I'd make a note here.

Vanderbilt 12 Rhode Island 4

Thanks to Rhode Island for making the trip, they played hard the entire game. Great group of guys and coaches, best of luck to them the rest of the season.

Biggest game of the year!

Postby hahahaha on Fri Mar 17, 2006 5:48 pm

I dont know if anyone pays attention to the USLIA, but the biggest game of the year is going down this saturday. BYU gets its chance to avenge its loss to the FAVORED FSU this coming saturday. This is the biggest game of the year for FSU and I expect BYU will be ready to go as well. My guess is that Rob Herzog #8 (Attack/Midfield) will be the difference maker much like last year when he scored the game winning one handed goal. Brian Waters and Brad Wilson have become offensive powerhouses and expect the tough D-II schedule that FSU plays to pay dividends. My prediction is a close one....FSU 12 BYU 9 with FSU pulling away late. Look for Star freshman Corey Noonan to be the difference in the game.

Not only that but I'd suspect that last week's game between #1 & #2 was closer to the game of year than this one will be.

Wow, 2 different difference makers. They should win.

I agree with CLM. The CSU v SSU game is by far the game of the year so far. It may be FSU's game of the year, but not in the MDIA.

Jolly R.,

The thing you need to realize is that Catlaxman is the biggest WCLL and UCSB homer on this board. Nothing good happens outside of the WCLL, no conference is "up to par" with the WCLL, and heaven for bid some team be better than the Gauchos.

Just the facts of life.

Yeah, I guess you're right. A game pitting #1 vs. #2 that went into OT for the second year in a row should take a back seat to #5 vs. #9. Looks like FSU is proving that this really was the game of the year now.
