Several Texas high school teams went east to play over spring break. They faired really well.

11-18 lost to Boy's Latin (MD)
ESD

11-18 lost to Mt. St. Joseph (MD) Video clips of this on e-lacrosse
I also saw on a message board that they defeated Delbarton (NJ) and Gonzaga (DC) in scrimmages.
Plano West
13-8 over Archbishop Curley (MD)
10-6 over John Carroll (MD)
3-10 lost to Severn (MD)
Southlake Carroll

16-1 over Athens Drive (NC)
9-10 lost in OT Charlotte Country Day (NC)

I assume that information came from Lacrosse Forums with Laxpower.com. I am wondering if the game between St. Marks and Boy's Latin (BL) was neck to neck or did BL start off the game with a big lead with St. Mark's catching up? The score of 11-18 may appear that the game was quite lopsided, but I am glad to see that St. Mark's was able to score in the double digits with Boy's Latin.

after watching the videos on Laxpower of the Plano West and ESD games, I gotta say that the Maryland teams looked much more conditioned than our guys. ESD had the talent to win, but it seemed like Mt. St. Joseph was just in better shape. They broke down better on defense, they played better positioning, and they didnt look as tired in the 4th as ESD did. Plano West was out skilled, Severn being one of mid-tier class A MD teams, but they were also definately out ran throughout the game. They were mutlitple times were a Severn player would just turn on the speed and blow past his defenseman. Maybe our HS teams need to start looking into a little more training in the spring, like less running and more Speed/Agility/Strength training. I mean, I know thats a tall order for most teams, having played for a D2 HS team where cooperation with the highschool is almost non-existent which makes weight training difficult on a team level, but if our HS teams want to reach the same level as these top MD and NY teams, I feel like this is the only missing piece to the puzzle. Just my 2cents.
still a maverick.

I thought that ESD looked tired, especially on the defensive end. They did look like they just ran out of gas. But remember, that was their 4th game in as many days. Thats a hard task for even the most well conditioned team.
I thought Plano West did a good job, they just weren't as talented as Severn. Thats was their third game in three days as well. Perhaps those weren't their starters playing for Severn, but I wasn't blown away by their talent level. They have a game coming up with Highland Park on Friday. They are very talented, so that should be interesting to keep an eye on.

Update on some more out of state travels....
Highland Park
9-11 lost to Severn (MD)
15-5 over Episcopal (DC)
9-7 over Penn Charter (PA)
I really thought HP could beat Severn. They may only be a middle of the pack MIAA team, but it shows Texas lacrosse is dramatically improving.
St. Johns
6-7 lost to St. Andrew's (FL)
Strake Jesuit
3-13 lost to Regis Jesuit (CO)
