Just so everyone knows, and some have known for a while, Weber State and Westminster are preparing this year to join next year ('06-'07), by getting money into the teams so that we don't have the problems with our schools. Weber State owed a little a bit of money to the school for the old team which is why we didn't join this year. both teams are also building up there players so that we pose some type of competition when we do join. Weber State would love to schedule games for this spring with teams. I am sure Westminster would as well, but i can't speak for them personally.
If you would like to play Weber State. please PM me or email me, and we can get things worked out.

Our tournament in the fall is a great preseason chance for teams to test themselves. This upcoming fall we are hoping for 8-10 teams and rtunning two fields as well as a contract from the ref assigning body guranteeing refs. so no misshap like last fall. So that's just a heads up. Thanks Ryan for bringing it up we are already working on the details and should have some information packet our sheet at the meeting at playoffs.
Thanks

Is Westminster still coming out with a team in 06-07? Also, where are Weber State and Westminster located? It'd be great to schedule a trip out to Utah and play all three Utah div B teams (UVSC, Weber State, and Westminster).

If New Mexico gets invited we will look at going to Utah for the RMLC Fall Tourney. We also will look at going to Western State. Is there no big Air Force Tourney anymore?
All the best,
John
PS. Lookout for Northern Arizona if they join the RMLC. They have the talent right now to step up to the Division A. They told me they may end up in the WCLL and take care of that debt they have from 10 years ago. There are some great programs in the region that will be joining the USL MDIA in the near future. Look for the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference to grow to the size of the WCLL or the SELC in the near future.

Aflaclax:
NAU ran us 19-2. It was an education to say the least. But even so there were a lot of positive things as a lot of our Guys have never played before. So it was a lot of developing. We also did not have our kid from Boston who is a Freshmen and who won 90% of his face-offs against Mines. He is a Medic in the NM Army National Guard and had duty that weekend. We were able to con his Sergent who is a huge Lobo Fan to give him off the weekend we play Wyoming. So it looks like we will have Jimmy for the rest of the season. But not having him against NAU really hurt us on Ball control. Also Jimmy had 30 ground balls against you guys at Mines. I need some more talent from New England to come to Lobo country. Like I said I believe NAU could step into Div. A next year. It was 10-0 at the the end of the First Quarter then we played them a little better on Defense. Next week we play them again in Flagstaff.
All the best,
John
