Hey!
How about not putting up a picture of the wrong "Huskies" on the home page of the PNCLL.
"Hey, the page looks pretty good! Wow, they got the Simon Fraser pic... the Oregon pic... and THE WRONG FEELGOOD TEAM OF 2006?! What is this?"
Anyways... just letting you guys know that the Washington Huskies are not the Huskies that are pictured on the PNCLL page. Maybe I am just mistaken and you guys are trying to represent other conferences... thats cool too.
Edit: I guess Northeastern is just that good.

The board is aware of it, and it will be fixed when Daryl has a chance... Dan caught that one right away!

Well Oze, they had a photo of you to use but you are just too darn wide to fit into the small space available. The Northeastern player is much skinnier

HAHA, that's funny. That's Jay Aloma, one of my middies who I thought was studying abroad this season, but apparently he's modeling for the PNCLL.

Surprising Mistake Indeed!
I am surprised by this mistake. I thought that everyone was on the SAME PAGE* now!
*See University of Oregon week #6 preview referencing the 'character' and 'grit' of another team.

ha, I clicked on this thread thinking that this was a good opportunity to point out that the header on the pncll.com webpage was out of date, only to see that they have replaced it. Now if we could only get rid of the seafoam green that is our color scheme...
Also, as a bit of constructive criticism I'd say that the stick head coming out of the final L in PNCLL on the logo looks a bit forced. If it were me I'd consider removing it. Just a thought.

B Photos
If you B guys would get some professional-type action photos taken at your games and submitted you'd see "lots of love" I'll guess. We can't post photos that don't exist, can we?

Actually Dan, we have a team photographer this year. Our pictures are on his website at www.willmoss.typepad.com/umlax. I don't know how to get them to Daryl because I'm not good with computers, but they're there.

Is that what that is? I thought it was someone's cup that fell out of his jockstrap.

PNCLL Header
I guess I'll take a few "mea culpas" on the header SNAFU guys. It was all me, me, me.
I actually had ten minutes of free time a couple of days ago and thought I'd try and spruce up the PNCLL header. It was out of date and I never had been really happy with it.
So I put up a new logo a player had done a few years ago. And then looked for some action photos.
There aren't any action photos (that I'm aware of) for our teams. However I recently got a CD full of photos from the USLMDIA photographer and what did I find but a couple of "Huskies" action photos.
Great I thought.
So I picked one, grabbed one of Oregon, one of SFU (because those were the only PNCLL teams on the CD) and put them on the masthead.
Then yesterday I found a Montana photo and put that up so that the B Division would also be represented. I was feeling pretty good about all this.
Then Dan called this morning and said: "Hey Daryl have you been following the PNCLL Forum thread on the new masthead?" I said I hadn't seen it yet but would check it out. He gave me a quick synopsis and I was amazed that I could make such a mistake as putting the wrong Huskies team on our masthead.
So I wanted to post my "sorry" to everyone while I redo the header...again.
If anyone has suggestions or thoughts on a new header or has some design capabilities then I'd love to hear from you. I think my name and email must be all over all the lacrosse sites so I don't think there is any problem with finding me.
Thanks all,
Daryl (falling on his sword) Fernquist

Ask and ye shall receive, Oze! Daryl has added a photo of a Montana player, being defending by a Husky ... wearing his Fall pinnie.
PS Great Montana Lacrosse website linked above! I had never seen it before. There is a photo directly under the headline on the Grizz-Willamette game that has to be run by Sonny for next week's "Name that Caption" feature! There seems to be some kind of UFO hovering above the action...
