Report scores, discuss upcoming games, WCLL week 7

When people make posts on here that are backed up with knowledge and coherent reasoning, it makes this forum just plain awesome- thanks to all the folks that make normal life a little bit difficult to pay attention to.

Cheers and a tip o' the cap.
Thanks, Waterboy....now watch, everything I posted will turn out to be wrong.
BTY, good job on "picks on point".

stranger things can happen, like Seattle not having 15" of rainfall a day. Anyway, that is what I was told

Michigan State vs LMU info. : Michigan State won by 4 goals, I believe. Don't quote me on this but I think the final score was 13-9. Couldn't really tell for sure--about half way through the fourth quarter the portable score board disappeared. Not sure if it blew away (a good possibility!) or if they just stowed it away cause the wind kept changing the numbers. In any event, the Spartans won.

Side note: MSU had their back-up goalie in for the second half. He was doing a pretty decent job. MSU #'s11, 17, and 36 scored at least one goal each in the second half. Wasn't paying as close of attention to LMU and who did what(sorry guys!).

The final was 14-9. We had our backup goalie in for all but the last 6 minutes when we had our 3rd string goalie in.

17 did play a great game with his first two goals of his career. He's a freshman that we have very high hopes for.

WaterBoy is going to call me with updates if he goes to the game. He wasn't sure if he would be at this game or the Chapman game. If he does go to the Claremont/USD game, I will be posting his reports in the live action forum. I should be hearing from various folks after the game. I'll let you know what they have to say about it.

LMU had the game within one after the 3rd quarter, 9-8, and had a lot of momentum the whole third quarter. MSU scored some quick goals in the 4th and took LMU out of the game. But it was a closer game than the final score.

UC Davis drops to Cal by 1.
10-9, the bears come back and score 6 goals in the 4th quarter.
IMO UC Davis needs a gut check for their personel management...
