Cornell's administration will not allow a game this weekend on their home field due to all the recent snow. Cornell is currently looking for an alternative site.
Augustana has offered to host the game, sine the school at an hour apart. When a decision has been made on a site, I will post it.

Purdue actually told the lacrosse team they could not use the field because of inclement weather. When I was coaching at Purdue we played against Indiana and Buffalo on back-to-back days when it was 34 degrees and dropping and we got over 4" of rain that weekend. The field began freezing solid during the games. I have never complained about game conditions since.
I guess Purdue got sick of moving the lacrosse team from field to field as quickly as we could destroy them.
Purdue would have let us play. The two teams decided to not take a chance and moved the date. No problem, it gives us more time to prepare for our game on Saturday.

That makes more sense, it is not that Purdue became more restrictive about field usage since I left. It is simply the team became more rational and started making better decisions about field usage since I left.
I can see how that would happen...

Missouri State vs. KU game has been cancelled for this afternoon.
Lawerance, KS was hit with big tornados last night. At least 1 KU player was taken to the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the students at KU and we wish them the best in these troubling times!

Illinois 11 from Champaign
This score suggests another very competitive game from the Illini, who are obviously a good team this year and have been operating pretty much "under the radar".
