Great MDIA Rivalries

Postby Ty Webb on Mon Mar 06, 2006 7:09 pm

In this match up both teams have always been in the top 5 and no game has ever been decided by more than 4 goals. In the regular season games one of the two teams has always been ranked #1 with that team losing 4 of the 6 games. With 4 one goal games and 3 two goal games this is one of the great MDIA rivalries.

1999- CSU 12-11 MDIA FINAL 4

2000- SSU 13-12 CSU#1 SSU #2

2001- CSU 8-6 SSU #1 CSU #5

2002- SSU 11-9 CSU #1 SSU #2

2002- SSU 13-10 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

2003- CSU 6-5 SSU #1 CSU #3

2003- CSU 8-6 MDIA FINAL 4

2004- CSU 10-6 CSU #1 SSU #4

2005- CSU 7-6 2OT CSU #1 SSU #3

2006- #1 vs. #2 (should be a good one)

about a 40% chance of rain, but believe me the couches will be on the sidelines rain or shine. This is gonna be a game to tell your kids about.
