8-6 UGA after 3. BC starting goalie has a collarbone injury, definitely out for the rest of the game.

Final from Athens: 13-9 Bulldogs win. BC scored 2 goals in last 45 seconds, but it wasn't enough.

8 penalties on BC compared to 1 on UGA. BC won 90% ofthe faceoffs, mostly on procedure calls. BC backup played very well, but defense let up late.

Thanks to Laxbum for score updates while also keeping time on the sideline.

Thanks to eaglelax for updating everyone. Just to give you some more analysis about the game. Georgia had some trouble clearing the ball in the first half but cleaned it up in the second. BC is a very talented team. Both teams hit a lot of pipes from shots and all 3 goalies came up big. Most of the goals were from man up and unsettled situations for both teams. BC's coach and bench did get 2 misconduct penalty's but they were only change of possession. All in all, it was very competitive game and UGA was able to pull away in the last 8 minutes of the game.

One of Georgia's players ran into the entire BC team waiting for their goalie at the emergency room in Athens tonight and unfortunately their starting goalie is out for 6-8 weeks with a broken collar bone that he suffered from a body check while outside the crease. Thats a tough break for BC. Hope their goalie has a speedy recovery.
