8 penalties on BC compared to 1 on UGA. BC won 90% ofthe faceoffs, mostly on procedure calls. BC backup played very well, but defense let up late.

Thanks to Laxbum for score updates while also keeping time on the sideline.

BC goes 0-2 on their GA trip.

So BC lost two tough games on the road. Have they fallen off a bit this year or is this just a case of early season woes on the road? I'm guessing that BC has had limited (if any) field time outdoors.

Despite the losses, no doubt this trip will help them prepare for the PCLL schedule.

I would look at it more that BC was just a bit rusty and not used to being outdoors. That's the difficulty with planning trips early in the season like this. You have to get your act together quickly. They do however allow you to better prepare for the league, which is what really matters.

Unfortunately injuries also became a factor in BC games. Sophomore goalie TR Hoffman suffered possible broken collarbone against UGA- chance he could miss rest of season. Starting attackman and leading scorer Brian Kinsella still recovering from off season knee injury and was not available for either game.

BC plays three top 15 teams in the Michigan Invitational Tournament at the end of the month. Might be a tough weekend for them but it should definitely get them ready for league play which is what really counts anyway.
