Sonoma answers right back with the hidden ball trick - 2 players crossing at X, and Bryan Dunleavy keeping the ball after faking giving it up, to put SSU ahead 6-3.

Sonoma scores again to make the score 8-3 in their favor. Not sure who scored, but it may have been Brian Alexander.

Nick Dean has not seen the ball too much in the 1st half. #17 Jeff Virden is the primary defender.

Here's a rarity, another coast to coaster by UCSD long pole Brandon Hays to make the score 9 - 5 SSU. Two in one game!

Now in the 4th quarter, UCSD will not go away as Nick Dean scores another to pull UCSD a little closer. SSU - 9 UCSD - 6.

Perhaps the short bench for Sonoma is beginning to show??
