The announcers said that Arizona deserved to win this game and I agree. I have never seen a BYU team make the kind of mistakes that I saw tonight. This loss will assuredly hurt them in the polls, and put them on the bubble. They have a win against #4, but losses to the #17 and #15 teams.

It might be a bit early to jump on THAT bandwagon, but it doesn't get much easier with CSU, Sonoma, FSU, etc on the schedule...Hats off to Arizona for coming to play tonight.

I think it's early to be calling anyone out of the tourney- I don't know if anyone was watching the postgame, but even the BYU announcers said that BYU probably wouldn't make it to the national tournament- that surprised me a lot.
The best team I've seen play so far has been Michigan, and BYU beat them (granted this is only of the teams I've watched play- limited number). I'm going to stick to my theory that there is simply a lot of parity in the top ten teams- maybe this will extend it to top 15?
Either way- It's a little early to be calling them out for the season.
I know the end statistic was 71-51 on groundballs, but I think that's what won the game for Zona. of the 71, I would think at least around 50 of them were from their own possessions- simply dropped balls picked back up. Just on my impressions from watching the game, it appeared as though Zona was dominating the ground balls in terms of actually getting a possession out of them.
Great game of lacrosse in the first half, turned sloppy for BYU in the second, Zona did a good job capitalizing. Does this make four years in a row for Zona beating BYU?

I don't think they are out of it either at this point, but they very realistically could be out of the Top 10 after this one. Without an AQ for the RMLC, they are going to have to play some very good lacrosse from here on out.
