LU vs harding

I heard LU only played their bottom 10 people, and they used their 4th line goalie who hasnt played in over a year.

Ill take a 1 goal loss to Harding. They are a good team, I hope they will MDIA-B!

This shows you how deep this Lindenwood team is.

A little clearing up real quick :)

Yes this was just a scrimmage game and doesn't technically count for anything. Our top couple of lines in all areas attack, defense, and middies, did not play. These scrimmages give people playing time and experience during thier first few seasons, who don't ordinarily see the field during challenging games. But Harding is a class act team and a real threat in Division B. They have some good shooters and thier goalie made some pretty sick saves to keep them in it.

On the line of our Goalie situation: Our #1 goalie Tim Jenninings has been out since the first quarter of our game against NorthEastern with an ACL. Mike Silva has now stepped it up (HUGE!) and is our starting Keeper. Our #3 goalie Eric Randall who was our keeper in the other b team scrimmages is now our #2. He was informed about the scrimmage late and could not get out of work in time. So Kurt Bergersen who started the season as a #4 goalie and had switched to a Defensive Midfielder about a week and a half into the season stepped into the cage for this scrimmage. I still think he did as good a job as possible considering he hadn't taken shots in so long, and didn't know the goalies role in the clears and so on.

Forgot to thank the girls who ran the table from Harding. There was a umm... don't know how to say this without mentioning the black and whites. But there was a horn, and it was sounded, that was ignored and the whistle blew and started play early and caused a goal. Of course nothing was overturned, but the girls manning the horn stuck up for us and went as far as to practically be on the field yelling at the ref's in our defense.
Needless to say I was impressed.

SLU - 17

(#16) WIU - 4

It started raining two hours before the game and never let up. A great game overall, SLU had 8 different players score goals. The team is finally starting to gel and play as a cohesive unit.

what happened to wiu...

did they graduate all of them sick poles they had last year?
this only confuses the confrence more on top of how good arkansas actually is... sounds like they are not to be taken lightly...

I think you meant SLU instead of arkansas, danza...

I don't know, but its obvious that SLU is in their setting now where they feel like a real team. All those years in division A play had to have given them some good experience, and its showing now. I can't wait to meet those guys on the field.

As for WIU, i would also like to know the situation. They had a good showing at the conference finals last year. No one else shut out Tomassoni last year like they did. Whats up?
