If there is a "Jump" or "Kick" button like in blast lacrosse I will be very upset.
The ever Realistic "stacked pads" save.
I really think they just took a hockey game, added a stupid jump and kick button, turned the ice green, gave the goalie a stick and put out the game. Please let it be better than this!

There is no such player in pro lacrosse.

It should be interesting to see what they do with this. The NLL has impressed me with the steps they are taking to get their name out there on a larger scale, of course I'm also impressed they put a team in Minnesota as well

A step...
While is is good news that they are going to create a new Lax game, I am hesitant after the last product produced. I will die a happy man when i see NCAALAX200? with the graphics of the NCAA football games, the ability to recruit, change strategies, run different offenses and defenses and actuallly have the ability to get an Emo or go man-down.Div 1-3 and maybe some MDIA club teams thrown in to appease our souls after the Blast debacle.

Real man down instead of some big hit that knocks a player out cold for a few seconds.
Recruiting would be my favorite part of the process. And unlike, college football or basketball your best players would stay all four years.

then we need to support whatever game comes out to make it look like an attractive option for game companies to produce. even if it sucks, buy it.

I don't understand why Blast Lacrosse got such a bad rep. I thought it was a fun game once you got the increadibly unrealistic controls down. It kept me up past "lights out" on many road trips.
Also, like Danny Hogan said, we (the lacrosse community) do need to support this upcomming game (pre order if possible) to show there is a market for a legit lacrosse video game such as the fabled EA Sports one that we soo long for. I'd like to say to hell with NCAA make it a USLIA video game. It would have "bigger" school, it'd be cheaper for EA because they wouldn't have to pay the NCAA infinity dollars for liscencing, and it's most likely the only way I'm ever going to get into a video game unless they come out with EA Sports ACLU lawyers lol. (j/k)

Would an NCAA game be more popular than an MLL game? I work directly with the Commissioner of the MLL so I can find out if this has been talked about and if so what the feeling is. Might be the fact that the MLL is currently all east coast. In 2006, though, when they move to the west coast, it might work.

Or maybe EA Tax Lawyers. I mean really, what could be more exciting?
Call me cynical but I see a repeat of Blast here. "Activision Value Publishing" doesn't inspire much confidence in the technical aspects of the game, nor do the marketing references such as "the hard-hitting, action-packed game of the NLL".
I understand the argument to support any lax game just to prove the market exists, but there's no way I'm throwing money away on Blast2.

i think that if they are going to make an outdoor lax video game then they should make an ncaa one but include teams from the past like in madden and ncaa football... hopefully this nll one will be better then blast, hell, it has to be.
