Fresh Mesh: Worthless?

I just strung a nitrous with brine's fresh mesh, and i can't for the life of me get it to throw well. The release is insanely quick and it doesn't grip the ball well at all. Has anybody had success using this stuff?

I think freshmesh is supposed to be reserved for your back-up stick. You use it in the cold/rainy games because it is an indestructable pocket, thereby saving your regular pocket from the elements.

Ive gotta suggest trying some canadian box mesh. I have it in all of my sticks and it is super consistent even when wet. This stuff works amazing, and i will also agree freshmesh is terrible.

I have that Fresh mesh in my Matrix, and just love it. Took a little while for it to completely break in, but now its pretty nice. Haven't played with it in the rain yet so i donno how it'd work with that

Jimalax makes the best hard mesh you can buy... I've tried them all and keep coming back to jimalax. It is kinda similar to the Brine mesh from like 5 years ago. Strings up great right away and throws and holds as good as anything else. In all weather.

They are easily my favorite lax company. They are easy to work with and are quick to get things out to you. It is the only place I buy mesh from.

OK OK OK, everyone listen up.
I've gone thru it all, pita pockets, 6 diamond, 8 diamond, 5 diamond, hard mesh, soft mesh, wacky tradition jobs with double sidewalls and a lot of cool and creative stuff...
I bought fresh mesh on accident about a year ago, and I was like "what is this plastic-rubber crap?"
So then I find myself with an unstrung proton power and a piece of freshmesh laying around about 2 weeks ago. I put the two together and BOOM instant pocket with the plastic-rubber crap...
As of now, it is my first stick I use. It throws perfectly how I like it, doesn't throw off plastic, has enough whip to throw tricky box fakes, enough wip to throw low-to-high lasers and I can still throw dimes to the crease, over hand, underhand, side arm...

THIS STUFF ISN'T ALL BAD, GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY!

Here's what I did, I strung it with 1 string across the top, loose.
Normal side walls, except I skipped a row of the mesh about 2-3 holes down on the side wall. This somehow worked out to giving me great hold, but still a quick release when hands are in shooting position or choked up for dunks on the crease.

THE BEST PART!
This stuff has no deterioration from weather, because it's plastic-rubber crap it doesnt get wet and soak up water and start to throw low.

THE ONLY DRAW BACK!
Because it is such skinny plastic-rubber crap, and doesn't have that natural fiber like other mesh, it stretches and can tear. So be careful stringing it up, but give it another try. It worked for me, and if it doesn't work for you, send me your fresh mesh.

I really like this mesh, but one thing i notice is when it rains, in the NW a lot, my shooters are affected but the fresh mesh is not. Kinda sucks but it just needs to be readjusted.

I believe they are talking about Catapultion Mesh. Another great variation of this mesh is American Mesh. It's a soft version of the Catapultion mesh and I used to have it in my Evo Pro, and it's pretty sick. I like the American because you can just go out and play, downside it when it rains it's heavier than your average weight watches participant.

Fresh Mesh is terrible. When I was working at a lax store this stuff just ended up falling apart a few weeks of usage and it's really only good if you have a super pinched head. Stay with regular mesh, and avoid the plastic. Remember plastic kills sea life.
