I'm tired so this will be brief.
Duluth looked like their usual selves tonight. Their ride stiffled the SJU clear, their longpoles played very tough (they've adapted well to life without Daehn), and their offence did a phenomenal job of controlling the ball. Like I said before I think the biggest difference between the two teams tonight was in the transition game. Duluth was able to clear the ball, and control on offence. SJU was unable to clear the ball and was forced to play defence the entire game. I think SJU pulled it together in the second half, and played a little closer to their potential, though penalties killed them all game. The SJU net-minder was on fire (Will Durban will become a household name). I have nothing but respect for Duluth's program; Rob always seems to put a great team on the field. Did I say this would be brief? Ha...

Looks like the U has been staying fairly close in the games with the higher ranked teams. Good luck to them in their game against northeastern tomorrow. I hope you can pull out an upset.

I am proud of, but not surprised by the U of M scores in their out of conference games. Keeping it close against such competition means a lot to the UMLL.

Moral victories are not directly related to the scoreboard or an overall record. One should never be completely satisfied with a loss regardless of opponent.
