Is this the MDIA Elite Tournament? If so, does anyone have a schedule of games for it. No one seems to know times and opponents.

i'm thinking it's going to be a great weekend for lacrosse in Texas.
i also know that lsu is going to turn some heads after we got our wake up call on last saturday...
oh, and if anyone from UNT is wondering-#30 is doing just fine-aside from losing a lot of blood from that blow to the eye....

lsuthirsty,
I am also wondering if your teammate's vision is also okay, too since you said he received a blow to the eye.

i just hope someone from TX can win some games and defend the home turf. the image that TX lacrosse cannot compete on a national scale is being compounded by last weekends games. csu came down and rolled through its weekend undefeated. Auburn wasnt supposed to do anything but at least showed some game. even St. Johns in the B division went undefeated.
have some pride TX!

peace.

I think that the LSA teams will do a much better job of representing their home state in the Houston Invit. I would be very suprised to see any OOC team come in and run the table like CSU did last week. BTW, how is Oakland looking this year, will they be eligible for Nationals? I remember reading last year that they were under some restrictions for some eligibilty problems. Regardless, I know the LSA teams will do their home state proud in a couple of weeks.

Oakland had a pretty solid team last year, but i think will have some difficulty with teams the likes of Texas, Tech, and TAMU.... not sure who's actually even going to be there. I'm unsure however as to Oakland's national eliginbility, but i THINK they are eligible.
Jessexy: I have a feeling you'll see some Texas pride in Houston. (Even if it has to be brought in from Lubbock) .

Oakland has the best player in the USLIA, Billy Binge. Real quick and flashy. He will tear it up fa sho.

Oakland is a very dangerous team as you in Texas are about to learn. If you check out their website coach Hicks has already said that he thinks this is the most talented team he's ever had. Their attack is unbelievable lead by Binge. After playing them this fall I would say they are definitly going to be a team to reckon with. I would not be suprised if they run the table in Texas. There are a few things that might hold them back though. One is they'll only have one game under their bealts and they have a hard time getting good practice facilities. Good luck to all teams down there at the tourney though, I can't wait to see how it shakes out.
