Apparently the premature reports of UCSB's demise appear to be just that. . . . . . premature.

Thanks all for updates.

Thanks for all the updates! Ole, Ole, Ole

Jack Miller for President! What a story, little used Frosh attack scores consecutive OT goals to win 2 wild home games.

Can anybody say how the one-armed middie, #45, held up in this game?
Did he finish the game?

Thanks

The impression from those around me in the crowd was that the comeback was greased along by some key calls.

#45 for UCSB played a full game, I made note of his good play during the game, was definitely up there with time on the field middie wise.

That would be very unusual for SB at home as they have a long history of being on the other side of that coin . . . . as those who follow SB are well aware of.

#45 is Dustin Benesch who was a key contributor at defensive middie during last year's championship season. Good the see that he was able to fight through his injury issues.

I understand that and can possibly explain it by the impression that calls tended to favor the team behind on the scoreboard, something UCSB tend to avoid.

Still on my worldwide search for the perfect game, wish me luck.

Lots to say about that game, but this particular moment is one of the most amazing I have ever seen. Cole took the shot with about 12 seconds left, hit the top crossbar, and the ball bounced all the way back to within 5 yards of the BYU restraining line. It was at least 30-40 yards in the air at one point.

1/4" either way, right Ram?

Nice, Andy. Looks like Damon was preparing for one of his wicked slap checks in the second one.

Are those new jerseys for UCSB? They haven't had new uniforms in seven years.

No no no! Why'd they bail on the traditional looking uniforms?
