Auburn 8
Florida State 18
Don't count Auburn out of anything. Their faceoff guy is pretty good, and they will definitely hurt you when you make mistakes. They also move the ball very well around the crease.
Good game today. Lots of hustle and hits on both sides.

UT/NCSU game was moved to a wet grass intramural field following a miscommunication about paperwork at Wake. They're were limited lines and footing in this game which led to a very scrappy game. NCSU jumped out to a 3-1 halftime lead and 5-1 at the end of the third. Tennessee wheeled off 6 straight in 6 minutes to go up by 2 and then each team switched off three goals and Tennessee was able to hold off NCSU at the end for the victory. Great effort by both teams and good luck to the wolfpack for the rest of the season.

I want to thank GA Tech for hosting the ECU v USF game on Sunday, which was suppose to be at UGA. Also thank you to ECU, USF and the officials for understanding the last second switches that had to be made due to the weather in Athens. I hope that no one was inconvenienced too much because of changes. Thanks again to all.

I know the gators haven't played a regular game yet, but would anyone talk about them a little? Have there been any preseason games/tournament games?

UF beat a Florida mens league team (don't know what the score was) and lost a low scoring game to FSU in the fall. I believe the score was 5-3.

really?! was it competitive? I mean were the starters in for the whole game and were they really gunning to win or was it more of a "give everyone PT" environment?

i can't speak for the current team and of course not for FSU. but in the old days that fall ball game had a real-game type of atmosphere (and substitution strategy). Perhaps things have changed as both programs have developed, but with that rivalry no one wants to lose at any time.

I was at the UF/ FSU fall game and it was
Hard fought and very competitive. Both teams wanted the win.

that fall-ball game always had the atmosphere of a regular season game. i'd say it carried just as much weight as the regular season game as it usually gave each team motivation over winter break and on into the beginning of the season.

There was some confusion between UGA and FSU as far as the time of their game in Tallahassee tonight. USLIA and UGA's websites say 7:00 pm while FSU's website and records say 8:00pm. The two teams have decided to play the game at 8:00pm. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case there are people going to the game. I'll be at the game and I know that it is not a game that people are paying any attention to, but if anyone wants updates throughout the game, then you can call me at 678-358-3660. And yes, I do realize it is a friday night and people have better things to do. But just thought I'd lay the option out there.
