SCAD- 13
Emory- 12

Tough hard fought game under the lights. SCAD was up by three or so goals at the half. Emory rallied in the 3rd to go up, but SCAD came back and kept the lead in the 4th. Eckerd and Emory tomorrow, followed by SCAD Eckerd on Sunday. Big weekend for some Lax.

Sounds like an impressive season so far from Wake Forest. Those sound to me like two pretty big wins from a team that had some struggles last year. Possibly some emerging potency. Anyone that saw either of the games care to comment?

Thanks Sonny for making a posting for the SVU vs Alabama game. I would like to thank Georgia Tech for hosting the game. They have a great facility and do a wonderful job making sure you have all you need. The officials did an excellent job. Both teams played with great sportsmanship. It did start to rain during the game, but nothing to heavy.

Saturday evening final from the Georgia Tech turf - Vandy 12, USC 5

BOX SCORE
Vanderbilt: 1 - 4 - 3 - 4 = 12
South Carolina: 2 - 0 - 2 - 1 = 5

The Gamecocks jumped out to an early lead after 15 minutes of play only to see the Dores post 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd quarter. Vandy slowly pulled away in the 2nd half to post a 7-goal victory in chilly Atlanta (upper 30's). Both teams are greatly improved over seasons past.

South Carolina plays Georgia Tech at 11am tomorrow morning. GT will travel to Nashville to play Vandy next weekend.

Eckerd- 16
SCAD- 10

Hard fought game, Eckerd played tough throughout. Tied up 9-9 at the end of the third. Eckerd looks good and will surprise a lot of people this year, real classy guys.
