When I was in charge of scheduling games for my team I spoke with the Montana rep, (do not remember his name) two years in a row he told me they could only host games in Missoula in April. Now that may have changed and it sounds like it has, now the over riding factor as mentioned is the referee's. I remember one trip to Missoula we had a couple of referee's from Alberta (Calgary I think.)

I personally don't want to go to Missoula because of the enormous dragons and deadly winged lions. They live in the mountains and thrive off the souls of weary travellers. If it were not for that I am confident that my tribe of lacrosse playing men would be brave enough to enter said territory, but until these ungodly beasts are removed by the law-abiding and god-fearing trained referees no one will be able to sleep peacefully.

I kid, I kid, Missoula is not that bad a drive in all honesty, in the RMLC don't they have to travel just as far for every game practically? I'm sure Boise enjoyed going to Colorado Springs, Laramie, etc. But yes, get referees and I wouldn't mind going next year

I've already gotten a ref for Keith. The problem is finding someone who can gain experience in a state with only two lacrosse teams (or who can even see a game if we only play at home for one weekend a season)...this isn't an overnight solution, but I'm doing my best. Also, just to clarify for Dan...the "no respect" comment that I made was directed at the rest of the teams in the PNCLL B that made the Top 25 poll, as I believe they should have been ranked higher...not about my team. And if everyone wants to hear something really funny about the RMLC...Montana State travels 18 hours one way for conference games in Durango, that's serious.

Montana has really turned their program around and credit should be given to whoever is steering the ship. If it is you hHi-Line then I commend you on your efforts they have definately produced results. It was not too long ago that it seemed the program in Missoula was headed the wrong way. Keep up the good work.

I worked very hard to get those tire tracks down to the perfect depth before you Montana guys played us, Hi-Line. And Kyle, I was standing knee deep in the mud right there with you when you guys came to play us last year. You think it's easy to maintain a horrible home field advantage without making it look like we did it to you on purpose???

Oh, by the way, I'm at Willamette now. Will any of you Bearcat laxmen ever get back to me about keeping time for you?

Take full advantage of "timekeeper's" offer to run the clock for your home games. He's been running the clocks for PLU games at home, and often on the road for several years now. He's also worked at several final four tourneys in the PNCLL. . .and he's a huge lacrosse supporter. It's always a bonus when you have a faculty member who is a huge supporter of your program, and Brian has been a wonderful liason between the lacrosse club and the University for the past 5 years. He's now working at your Law School, and he would be a huge asset for your program. . .not to mention he's a great guy.

Oh, and by the way. . .as many Lute Lacrosse players have learned the hard way over the years. . .don't play poker with him.

WOW!!! now that "timekeeper" has left the lutedome he now decides to get a screename...and with a bearcat logo no less....i'm deeply hurt by these turn of events......i'm truly at a loss of words

I set up my user name a year ago but had only posted once before. I used the Lute logo last year, too. Believe me, I had tears in my eyes when I made the update.

I'll go on the record and say he's not very good at poker... and I believe you stood on a chair during our game Brian. It was nothing like the wonderful game played at Curtiss Highschool, on the turf....
