Commericals between Super Bowl XL TV breaks

Postby Brent Burns on Sun Feb 05, 2006 7:09 pm

So far, the funniest ads are:

Without any questions, Bud Light ads.

Diet Pepsi (I just told my wife that she is disowned because someone crushed a Diet Coke can! )

Fedex (this guy was going to send a "package" with a bird, but it appears that some T-Rex snatched that bird and shook that package loose. Later, this guy was crushed by some kind of dinosaur.)

Any of your favorite ads that you can share with us when catching the commericals between Super Bowl XL breaks??

The ESPN to go or whatever they call it commercial was pretty sweet.

I loved the Bud Light ( "Dude, not cool!" )

The Bud Light ad with the streaking sheep is the best one, followed by the Fed Ex with the Dino's.

I liked both commercials that had the punchline "Don't judge too quickly". I don't remember what company it was. They were the commercials where the doctors killed a fly with the defibrillators and said, "Well that killed him" when the patient's family walked in, and the one where the lady was on the plane and it looked like she was trying to have sex with another passenger.

These people also came up with the commercial last year where it looked like the boyfriend killed his girlfriend's cat because there was marinara sauce all over the place. Thumbs up to the people who thought of these ideas.

That would be AmeriQuest, I think.

I have to give the nod to the "magic fridge" Its a college student's dream... A close second to the "don't judge too quickly"

I liked 2 of the Bud Light commercials.....the one with the bear and the friend running by and stealing the bud light.....then the one in the stadium where all the fans hold up different colors...one side has the beer bottle and the other has the glass, then they fill the glass and drink it...I thought that was good.

I read several accounts this morning that the FedEx ad that we saw yesterday is the most original, most unique. Instead of kicking the cat, Rob Graff is right about kicking the raptor.

I guess I am the only one who thought the MacGyver commercial was not just well done, but poingant. They don't make heroes like that anymore.

I love you, Richard Dean Anderson! Thank you for all that you did for my life.

I particularly enjoyed the Burger King commercial during the first quarter- it started out a bit slow, but by the end when all of the condiments were piling onto the burger, I thought that was hilarious.

The defibrillator was probably the best in my book, but I thought the Burger King one deserved some credit.
