Tonight - UFC 57: Chuck Liddell vs Randy Couture 3
Liddell (17-3) 6'1" 203lbs 36yrs (Current Light Heavyweight Champ)
Couture (14-7) 6'2" 205lbs 42yrs
Liddell vs Couture 1 - Couture controlled this "boxing match" from the start. Couture won by slamming Chuck to the ground then climbing on top and pounded away at Chuck's head until the ref stopped the fight (TKO). (fight lasted late into the 3rd round)
Liddell vs Couture 2 - About 1 min into the fight a Liddell pushed Randy out of a standup hold and when doing so; Randy got a thumb to the eye. They stopped the fight for a bit but Randy continued. Soon after they traded some hard hits but Randy lunged with a left and missed. Liddell came hard and knocked Randy out with a devestating right hook. It was the first time that Couture has every been knocked out. (fight lasted 2:06 mins in the first round)
Whats your take on tonghts fight? Like the commercial says: Each has tasted victory and each has tasted defeat.
I personally like Liddell because of his youth when compared to Couture. But I think Liddell got a lucky shot in the rematch fight.
This weekend is great... UFC, Lingere bowl and the XL Superbowl...

I LIKE THE "ICE MAN" IN THIS MATCH.. CHUCK HAS A LONGER REACH ADVANTAGE. THIS MATCH WILL PROBABLY GO THE DISTANCE BECAUSE THEY BOTH KNOW HOW TO ANTICIPATE EACH OTHER'S MOVES. LIDELL WILL WIN BY A DECISION..
