Clark Field in Plano
What can you tell me about this stadium? I believe this is the site for the Big 12 lacrosse tournament. Looks like a normal H.S. stadium with old-style (carpet) turf. Does anybody know anything about the lighting?

this place was the site for the thsll district championships , usually lacrosse wasn't played on the main field (turf?) sometimes it was in good condition sometimes it wasn't. overall decent size size with ok bleachers and a sideline that's way to close to the fence

It might be considered a normal high school stadium in other parts of the country. It is a jr. high/JV stadium in Texas. It was two, now three fields, side by side...or "side by each" as Mr. Hill says it. It is grass, with fairly deep football lines cut into the field. The two original fields share a press box with bleachers going down each side. I doubt the third field will be played on...it is "special", at least while it is new, so the school district probably won't let lacrosse on it yet. The fencing is very close to the sidelines since it was designed for football, not lacrosse. It is a nice venue as each field holds maybe 600-700 in the bleachers which are really close to the field. Above poster is correct, the last 3-4 high school North Texas District championships have been played there, as well as the Texas Tech/North Texas first round playoff game last year.

... and if I'm not mistaken, we (TTU) will be playing TAMU there next weekend.
I played on the field a bunch in High School; it's nice. Never got the chance to play on the turf though, aside from football, so I dunno how well a lax game could be played there.
The lighting on the three "small" fields is above standard. Nothing terribly special, but if I remember correctly it lit the field well and didn't impede on gameplay.

If that's true... it doesn't sound very promising at all. That weekend is 5 weekends from now and some teams would have to pull off major travel plans to make it happen.

Well that seems to make more sense. Thanks. Check your pm's.
