The McLean School of Maryland – Assistant Coach

The McLean School is looking for a coach to help with the boys' varsity program. This is a small private school that recently expanded to include a high school. Their varsity program is still in the developing stages, but they play a competitive 16-game varsity schedule. The McLean School is committed to developing a strong varsity lacrosse program. The assistant would be responsible for either the offense or the defense, whichever you prefer. Stipend is negotiable but would be around $1,500. Practices starts on Monday, February 27 and are from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri) until the beginning of April when practices will be from 4:45-6:45 p.m. until the season ends on May 13. Walton is recognized as one of the top academic high schools in Georgia and is consistently among the top sports programs in the state. The Director's Cup, recognizing the success of the total athletic program, was awarded to Walton in its inaugural year, 2000 and again in 2002. The program came in second this past academic year. The Head Coach must be certified to teach in the Georgia public school system. Limited teacher openings exist at Walton High School; however, additional openings are available within the elementary and middle feeder schools.
