What type of field will we be playing on when we come up there this weekend? Are cleats allowed? or any other restrictions. Thanx in advance

According to the schedule on our league site, your game against Moorhead is being played at the Husky Dome at St Cloud State. It is the rubber turf and you can where either shoes or cleats. Your game against St. Olaf is scheduled for the Plymouth Dome. The last time i played there, they still had the old turf and would encourage wearing shoes there unless it has new turf. Maybe someone else can answer that for us.

Both St. Cloud and The Plymouth dome have the newer turf with the artifical longer blades of grass and the chopped up used tires in it. Some prefer tennis shoes, some prefer replaceable cleats and some prefer molded cleats...bring your options and try out the turf is my suggestion.

A smart person would bring multiple types of shoes. That way once they saw the turf they could decide. I know I always had a pair of shoes that I could wear on turf or hard ground and a pair of spikes with extra spikes.

FieldTurf

And if you haven't played on FieldTurf before you will love it! The only thing better is a perfect grass field, which can be awfully hard to find in early Spring in either your league or ours.

thank you for your responses, our football stadium is the same material and so everyone pretty much knows their personal preference by now
