Cardinals Added to 2006 Schedule


NESCAC powerhouse Wesleyan University has been added to the 2006 spring lacrosse schedule. The Cardinals made their first ever NCAA Quarterfinal appearance in 2005, completing a stellar 13-6 season, with wins over Ithaca, Amherst and Tufts and were ranked No. 12 in the nation in the final Geico/STX Coaches Poll. The Cardinals are led by senior midfielder Glenn Adams (Norwalk HS, Norwalk, CT), a first-team all-NESCAC pick, an all-New England Division III choice and a second-team All-American by the USILA, who led the team in scoring with 49 points while moving into fifth place on the all-time Wesleyan scoring list with 138 points. The game will be played on Friday, March 17th at 5:00PM at Lake Brantley High School Stadium (venue tentative) in Orlando, Florida.


In this year's IL Yearbook, they are ranked #10. Should be a great test for the Cougs. Wesleyan is also playing Clarkson in FLA.
