just curious but why do you think we will lose to moorhead by 4, i believe we beat them by 5 last year while commiting an unreal 21 penalties and therefore playing mandown for a little more than 1 full quarter of hte game...dont mean to call you out personally but it seems that ISU is getting the short end of hte stick in many opinions after finishing 3rd in teh conference last year

Michigan worked Wittenberg last weekend. If Mizzou is as good as advertised, I expect the score to be close as Witt is certainly a middle of the road to sub par d3 team.

I think Illinois St. should win the game based off playing both teams last year. I am the most impressed that Illinois St. is traveling to the frozen tundra of Moorhead, MN.

I am looking forward to the Kansas/Kansas State games against Iowa State to get a feel for how well they are. After not seeing them play last year and already seeing Iowa State play twice this fall, should be an indicator if they will be a someone competing for the last couple playoff spots or someone who will be struggling.

I remember playing you guys at the Stillwater Dome two years ago and it being single digits if not colder (8 AM start didnt help). Then running out to my car to get something and having my key freeze to my lip when I put it in my mouth to get something out then peeling skin off when I took it off (dumb Texan in me). Then listening to you guys say you would take take this weather over Moorhead which was 20-30 degrees cooler, I thought you guys were crazy. Man I don't miss the midwest weather, loving this great SoCal weather. 8)

Friday, Feb. 18
Michigan over Mizzou by 18
Illinois over Iowa by 10

Saturday, Feb. 19
Creighton over Harding by 2
RHIT over Cornell by 7
Illinois over Minnesota by 2
Illinois State over Moorhead by 3
SLU over Truman by 8
Lindenwood dominates Rhodes by 20
Iowa State over Kansas by 1
Northern Illinois over RHIT by 2
Bellarmine over Mizzou by 9
Creighton over SFA by 2
Minnesota over Iowa by 5
Mankato over Kansas State by 10

Sunday, Feb 20
Mankato over Kansas by 1 in OT
Illinois State over St. Olaf by 9

The Mizzou vs. Bellarmine game is listed as a scrimmage on the Bellarmine Lax web site. Based on that information, I don't think you guys should consider that as an official contest.

. If there are refs and 2 teams, its a game in my book. We'll still have our fun making predictions on the "scrimmage" anyway.

I'm guessing

Mizzou gets walked on by Michigan
Illinois over Iowa

Harding takes Creighton
Cornell over RHIT just sounds better this way
I want to see Illinois beat Minnesota
SLU over Truman but not by a whole lot
Lindenwood will dominate another Div. B team can't wait to see them against an A team.
Kansas over Iowa State but it will be close
RHIT over Northern Illinois
Bellarmine over Mizzou in thier "Scrimmage" call it what you want Mizzou won't be happy with the result
Creighton over Steven F. Austin
Minnesota above Iowa
Kansas State over Minnesota State-Mankato hopefully
Then Kansas is beat by Mankato i know say what you want
Kansas State over Iowa State
Mizzou again crawls off the field from another NCAA loss against Whittenberg.

I like to shoot in the dark, but its fun and ruffles some feathers. I guess we will see next week what i hit.

Mizzou vs. Wittenberg

Postby lionlax22 on Tue Feb 15, 2005 10:51 pm

The game could be close. We beat them in the fall by a few on a muddy field. They are an OK Div. III team, but no one really knows about Mizzou this year. They lost alot of people after last year. It will be an interesting one.
