I dunno. However, I just wanted to make sure if we should have this "common-sense" rule to come up with the next trivia question once the previous question is correctly answered. That way, we will not have any question overload.

Agreed. That way there is not overload. Also, I promise to not post more than one at once anymore. Someone once told me about growing things slowly. Baby steps or something, like that.

So I did two questions. The people want lax as well as general sports. We can do both, I think. So today there is a football for the general crowd and a lacrosse for lax crowd. Cool?

who is credited with coining the phrase "the fastest game on two feet"?

for a hint and/or extra credit:
what is this individual's connection to national intercollegiate champion teams (men's lacrosse) from 1936 to 1972?

CORRECT. Tesh was a middie and also played some attack.

Tesh note: He composed the NBA on NBC theme over the phone. The melody came to him in a dream while he was on vacation in Europe. He woke up and called his answering machine in California and sang the tune into the device. When he got home a short time later, he finished the song.

I understand that John Tesh played lacrosse at Garden City (NY). I am not sure if he has played under Tom Nolan, Sr. when he was responsible for running the Garden City Youth Lacrosse.

I may be out of turn, but I guess I will take a gamble and bring up another lacrosse trivia.

Who is one of the posters on the USLIA.com who won the Sam Stadler Award?

Yes and No. Tony did win the Sam Stadler Award, but he had not posted at all on this MB in the year of 2005. I emphasized the word poster.

Dang it all those award cerimonies are running together in my head.

I will say either John Paul or Sonny.

No year was specified and I know that Scazz has posted on USLIA.com so technically I win. But to save y'all from one of my questions, I'll go ahead and defer.

It is Sonny. I believe I was there or maybe that was just after the tournament at Hellen Fitzgerald's.

The answer is Sonny, but I can not remember exactly what year it was. Before the crash of the old USLIA board, there was an archive of the awards.
