REPORT FROM MAMMOTH TRAINING CAMP

Postby James Foote on Fri Dec 09, 2005 12:18 am

For the first time in the team’s four seasons in Colorado, Mammoth training camp opened without Gary Gait on the floor. Now that the lacrosse legend has retired from playing and has become head coach, the players are adjusting their style of play to fill a huge void in the Mammoth offense. Mammoth beat writer Paul Willis of the Rocky Mountain News was at the opening of Mammoth camp last weekend and reports on the team’s efforts to get more players involved in the offense to create a more balanced scoring attack.
