Blue Velvet,
I don't think the schedule on the WCLL website is complete yet. That could be why some of Chapman's games aren't listed there. Also, whether or not it is a scrimmage, going up against a D II or D III team should be considered when you are judging the level of their schedule.

WCLL schedule
Two things: the posted schedule for the WCLL is in draft forms, as of now and each conference will only list the home MDIA and NCAA games on their respective league schedules this year.

I'd argue that if it doesn't count in your record, then it shouldn't count in determining how tough your schedule is. I mean, does anyone look at the teams the Colts played in the pre-season when determining how tough their schedule is?
Not that these games don't tell you anything about the team, of course. (Well, except in the Colts' case I guess they didn't.) But if you can lose all of those scrimmages and still go undefeated in MDIA play, I don't think they made your schedule any tougher.

It's not so much that your schedule is tougher as it is that you are making your season more challenging by going up against these teams. That was why I included them in my posts. I thought some folks might find that of interest.

Since we're talking about schedules; here's what the cossacks er... seawolves (SSU) have to look forward to this season. I have left out the opponents that I am pretty sure they will beat. ASU, VA tech, UCSD, CSU, UCSB (on a wednesday!?! in ROPO!) UofO, BYU (on byutv) NDNU and U of Utah Although they will have NINE home games this year, compared to four from last year, they have six games to play in a little over two weeks. Thats blue collar!

As the caliber of the MDIA and WDIA increase, we might see a trend of NCAA teams avoiding our leagues. It would be less advantageous for them to play a M/WDIA team and lose and potentially face being dropped by the athletic program. And the SOS of a NCAA / M/WDIA game might be distorted because of factors unknown. If the NCAA team wins then the M/WDIA team would say "See how tough they are?"; but if the M/WDIA team wins the NCAA team might say "Well it was a scrimmage so we didn't play our hardest." Because there are no consequences for either side it is hard to use these games as an indicator for polls or SOS.

when MDIA teams play a varsity team, the level of competition the MDIA team is facing is equivalent to at least a top 5 MDIA team. Assuming the varsity team plays their starters, these games are very good for the MDIA teams, and will better prepare them for tournament play

Depends on which varsity teams you are talking about. There are some pretty bad varsity squads out there...

but don't serve as any basis for comparison in the MDIA poll.
and top 5 mdia might be the ones your are thinking of, but there are plenty of mdia teams that soundly defeat ncaa teams every year.

MY argument is simply that playing some varsity schools can add lots of value come playoff time. To me, playing CW Post is as competitive a game if not more so then playing BYU will be. It all about getting better for the tourney in May

BYU-TV Schedule
I won't comment on the entire BYU schedule but will share the BYU-TV games which seem to get the most interest anyway. They are tentitively scheduled to be:
Feb 11th - Cal
March 3rd - Arizona
March 11th - Florida
April 8th - Oregon
April 19th - Sonoma State
By the way, here is my favorite play from the 2005 BYU-TV broadcast games if you have a solid broadband connection (40MB File):

Very True. I agree CW Post is a very competitive game... but CW post is no where near the bottom of varsity programs.
There are teams plenty worse out there that most people haven't heard of.
