Bowl Game Trivia

Postby bste_lax on Mon Dec 05, 2005 7:52 pm

With the latest bowl announcements, which four teams will have gone to 4 or more straight Jan 1 (bowl games Jan 1 or later) bowl games?

Which three teams had their streaks snapped this season (4 or more straight)?

I believe that Purdue, Kansas State, & Tennessee were among the teams that had long bowl streaks snapped this year.

For keeping the streak in tact, how about:
Southern Cal
Va Tech
Auburn
Ohio State
(maybe Texas)
BYU '96
Texas A&M '02

Add Georgia Tech and Georgia to that list of consecutive bowl game appearances (not all of which Jan 1st).

I know Benson is grinning from ear to ear about his Hawkeyes being in one of the bowls every year. How many times has Hayden Fry taken the Hawkeyes to go to the bowl games in the past?
