Collegiate Licensing Company's top-selling member institutions for the first quarter of the 2005-2006 fiscal year. These rankings represent royalties reported July 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005 on collegiate merchandise sold.

Tennessee is ranked #5. That means by using the modified Fulmer Scale, my alma mater should be way out of the Top 25 by April.

Nine of the Top 25 are SEC teams.

Not a sermon. Just a thought.

12 Southern teams (9 SEC, 3 ACC) in the Top 20. Those in the South don't just watch football, we live it. ;)

i work for a large commercial construction firm, i'm about the only one who doesn't, however i can fake it by joining the conversation every monday and say "man, can u believe that tony stewart?"

Not to get off topic, but if NASCAR is that big, then why is there not stadium seating along the 405 in LA or the 75/85 interchange in Atlanta? How about the mixing bowl in DC? Municipalities that are building super speedway need to watch The Simpsons epsiode entitled Monorail to learn a hard life lesson. Enough with the NASCAR already.

Ever heard of pedestrianism? Biggest sport in America at the turn of the last century. Where is it today? I rest my case.
