10,509 ATTEND LUMBERJAX SCRIMMAGE

Wow...

10,509 Portland LumberJax fans filled the Rose Garden on Thursday night for the LumberJax first game in team history. The night consisted of a hard-fought, hard-hitting Exhibition Scrimmage that resulted in a 15-14 final in overtime.

Former Oregon Duck Danny Ernst added two goals in the game.

That's a great showing for a scrimmage. I think Portland's franchise will be very successful. They have the right people in the front office and some studs on the turf.

How did all 3 Morgan brothers do? Ben Sadler? Last I heard Ben was invited back, but that's it. Did he get to continue with it?

Danny is not the only ex-PNCLL player out there, and Portland is Ben's home town as well.
